I think I'm about to.

Been living on minimum wage since I was 17, now 28. Decided to start university at the start of covid, purely to get Australias study welfare stimulus that was just chucking money at people at the time. Put a lot of that away and just sustained myself on minimum wage while I studied. Eventually I found a passion in the degree I'm doing and I know where I'm taking it. Now I'm in my final year and have just been accepted into an entry level position as a parole case manager at my local council, 75k starting, with growth after I graduate.

Gonna be able to take care of my mum a lot better now. So used to living in poor conditions, praying my taps won't break because we couldn't afford a plumber. Old house slowly degrading around us. Might get advice in investing someday but I'm not gonna even attempt it without knowledge first, for now I'm just going to work hard and get my base sorted.
