Letting the peasants entry into the clergy. Should've beat their asses and kept them away from the scriptures.

Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical engineering. Stick to those 3 unless you have daddy connections. But they are very difficult and boring unless you're high IQ. But you can also get a decent job working for defense contractors or branch off into many fields

If you want to min-max autism and salary then go into compsci. Cyber security also seems to be pretty popular but I have no clue what that actually pays. I would stay away from Math or /biz/ degrees unless you have a very specific reason or really love math and want to be some quant

Is getting an entry level software engineer job for $80k / year unreasonable with a degree?

Engineering fields are literally some of the best foundations to start a career. With just mechanical engineering bachelors you can work your way up to running factories or go into corporate. These fields are only "dead" because tons of lazy unsocialized midwits got tricked into thinking learning calculus and a couple physics classes would be enough to cover for their lack of social skills

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Cardano. The tech is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical CS most of the tech will go over a typical investors head. There's also Charles Hoskinson genius outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The ADA holders understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of the Blockchain Philosophy, to realise that they're not just genius- they say something deep about tech. As a consequence people who dislike Cardano truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the tech in Cardano existential catchphrase "DeFi is easy" which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Charles Hoskinson's genius tech unfolds itself on their Computer screens. What fools.. how I pity them.

If it goes up I'll post memes lamenting about how I sold the bottom. If it goes down I'll post memes lamenting about how I bought the top.
