Ripple XRP thread and general Bitcoin/crypto-currency thoughts. If you want to crap on digital currency this is not the thread for you grandpa.

>Bitcoin - As soon as the Mt. Gox fiasco is over BTC will rebound. Any predictions to where?

>Litecoin - BTC's little bro

>Mintcoin - Already great growth this last week. Looking forward to where this coin is headed

>Doge - To the moon!

>PND - So long wolong!

>XRP - Second highest market cap. Mid to long term investment. Solid and least volatile

>Vertcoin - Anyone care to explain what this is?

>Ethereum - When is the release date for this?

Any other coins anyone has interest in? Looking for more pump/dump and long terms.

I made about $6k the last few months buying Ripple XRP then selling on e-bay. They warned me a lot of times to put my listings in a classified ad format but I didn't listen and finally got my account banned. Ah well. It was fun while it lasted. Anyone else buy cryptos then sell on E-bay at a huge markup?

the ripple is 0.006 cents and on monday JP Morgan Chase is absorbing them and rebranding for cryptocurrency. This is true, they have a new website which I've seen. They've been buying up ripple to see the gains which is why volume has been going nuts lately. Insiders are dumping dollars and bitcoin for ripples. XRP

Currently there is total of 100,000,000,000 XRP (Ripples)

80,000,000,000 XRP was handed over to Ripple Labs
A total of 20,000,000,000 XRP is divived between Jed, Chris en Arthur.

Of the 80,000,000,000 XRP Ripple Labs is currently holding 72,182,111,353 XRP.
Around approximately 8,000,000,000 XRP is currently on the market.

Ripple Labs said they will use around 23,543,355,034 XRP of the 80,000,000,000 XRP for Marketing & Development etc.

In the end Ripple Labs plans to hold 50% of all Ripples and distribute the rest under end users and coorporate institutions.

However couple of days ago Jed announced he will dump his 9,000,000,000 XRP on the market.
(The reason behind this is unknown and Arthur responed Ripple Labs will take actions that will never happen again in the future)

This is more than there currently is on the market.
At this moment Ripple dropped in more than half of it's value and is still sinking.

I have 100K in XRP and have no idea what to do now.
Sell and take the loss and buy again cheaper or just wait and let it become stable again ( what probably will take years)

Can I have you insight and advice on the current status of Ripple Labs, XRP, Jed, Arthur and Chris?

Thanks a lot bizz!

In 10 years the fight of the cryptocoin has been fought!

There are only 5 survivors left.
Name you 5 cryptocoin survivers and why.

>1 Bitcoin: the goldstandard

>2 Litecoin: the silverstandard

>3 Darkcoin: trading for the illegal stuff, drugs guns etc. Criminals love this coin.

>4 Dogecoin: only survived because of the big community that backs them.

>5 Peercoin: stable coin not as fancy as bit or lite not big in the illegal scene not a big community as doge, can be seen as bronze/copper.
Note:

XRP: has a lot of potential and will also survive but will mostly be used by the mainstream and by big financial institutions. Did not list it as it is not seen als an cryptocoin by most.

Guldencoin: Got a lot of money on this on. Currently able to use this cryptocoin at multiple subways in the Netherlands and more diner places. Did not list it as it is manly focused as a local coin.

Ripple 9 billion XRP sell-off incoming in less than 20 hours. Who's getting in on the fire sale? Any predictions to where the value will drop to? Is Jed even really going to sell?

I don't get how coinmarketcap does the calculations for crypto market caps. XRP has 100 billion coins in circulation at a price of .0045 apiece. Should that make XRP market cap at $450 million putting it in second place above LTC? Am I just confused?

Buy XRP now before it takes off.

XRP has been stagnant due to indecision about the founders share but Ripple Labs and Jed McCaleb have just reached an agreement on his selling of XRP. The value is about to spike in a huge way really soon. Get on this first /biz/ I am giving you a solid tip.

They are all over the news and people seems to be jumping heads first to get them.

But what's the plan, what are they supposed to be good for?

How you buy them sell them trade them.

Do they really hold any value or are just a fad.

I want to get in if there is money to had but all I read and hear are negative/sketchy stories about all this.

BesiDes what's the point of buying something your going to loose a lot on fees

Thoughts on Ripple (XRP)? Expansions have been made to Luxembourg and NY recently. Looks like Ripple is backed by a solid team, but I find it odd I never see anyone talk about them. Good investment or pass?

So, I made money on trumpcoin (pulled out at the 20k point, bought in at 6k).

I made on wavea by complete luck buying some ages ago cheap, the recent mini pump I offloaded.

Not massive gains on both of these but short term day trading is boring me.

A bit of research through all the shitcoins and altcoins has only really les me to 1 point of interest, Ripple. XRP.

I've thrown all profit from prwvious 2 ventures into it, I can afford to lose every penny so I really don't give a fuck but what do we think brothers?

Large scale adoption of the premise from several banks seems to smell good to me, even if XRP isn't the actual used crypto and it's IOU's, the need for Ripple would still ensure significant gains.

Again, I only have qk sunk into it but it's gonna be a fun long term ride.

What think Bee-rohs?

Alright boys, I need some perspective.

I'm currently holding:

191,200 Ripple (XRP)
26 Monero (XMR)
1.074 Bitcoin (BTC)
177.7 Ether (ETH)

What are the chances of making big returns in the next 5-10 years, and if so how much can I expect?

Alts are down because BTC is up. Now is a great time to get some cheap XRP.

XRP costs around $.006 today and is projected to hit $.06 this quarter.
