Let's be honest, LINK it's pointless because there's no verification, it's a simple majority vote.
Even a single SSL notary is way more reliable because it doesn't know what it's signing as it's encrypted, so there's much less room for manipulation.

On a technical side of things chainlink is a very heavy case of NIH syndrome (not invented here, making new things when existing solutions exist). The idea could be developed in fraction of a time by making a new ethereum blockchain with all oracle logic in smart contracts.

hat the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Crypto Academy, and I’ve been involved in numerous blockchain projects and I have over 11,000 confirmed bank investors. I am trained in smart contracts and I’m the top oracle problem solver. You are nothing to me but just another poorfag. I will buy you the fuck out with cash the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of cryptographers across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your portfolio. You’re fucking broke, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can buy you out in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my petty cash. Not only am I extensively trained in finance, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the blockchain and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable portfolio off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit losses all over you and you will drown in it. You’re fucking dead, kiddo.

>On 18 August 2008, the domain name bitcoin.org was registered.[11] Later that year on 31 October, a link to a paper authored by Satoshi Nakamoto titled Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System[12] was posted to a cryptography mailing list.

It is true, about the date.
The way BTC expanded fits his style of doing things; initially no marketing, only a few technical and ideological individuals working and investing on the project. Eventually caught media attention. Besides, Satoshi Nakamoto and Sergey Nazarov share the same initials... Like Nick Szabo inversely does too. Maybe it was a joint project, in this text >>7977232 it is said that the name "Satoshi Nakamoto" is way too fitting for the Bitcoin idea so it was certainly made up by somebody(ies).

he needed an organic community to build the test model (bitcoin) so the improved blockchain(ether) could be utilized to launch his decentralized oracles. The smart contracts was the main focus from day one. Link will make bitcoin look like an afterschool lemonade stand. All future systems will be monitored and executed by chainlink tech. Its comfy knowing I have already made it in the future.
