hi, am i missing something? im not the best when it comes to understanding technology in the crypto space so i want to ask how is rubic "the next link"? so what i understand it's just an exchange with some dope features, obviously a quality project, but chainlink made oracles, it really is an original and a breakthrough project, I feel like people just compare rubic to link because the logo is very good and it's also a square, I'm not even trying to be funny, I am not good when it comes to understanding crypto tech, let that be clear, hope someone can explain deeply as it would be cool investing into something and seeing it in top ranks next bullrun, thanks!

This is one of the problems of the Link ecosystem. The first players will remain there forever getting the high responsibility jobs since they have the first mover advantage. Someone late to the node game, even a year, can never get to the level of service even doing small low stake jobs.

This is one of the biggest problems of Chainlink ecosystem: 1 to 10 nodes will effectively run the whole job run space effectively making it centralized since they are the only ones being able to maintain high ranks forever in the ecosystem

There are people that have been watching LINK climb the ranks for months, even years, who look at it and think “wtf is this thing? meh, it’ll dump soon. meanwhile my shitcoin x is bound to start pumping soon”. It’s been infront of their eyes this whole time, but they dismissed it as that “meme frog token that is having its 15 minutes”. Even now, on the cusp of the gbr, they probably see it every day sitting all the way up there smack bang in their faces and never think to investigate what it’s all about. And soon they’ll see it go to $20 again, then $30, $100, $200, $500, $1000. What's funny is I remember
- Sirgay once mentioned TRON when he talked about potential agnostic integrations, I think it was on the mainnet launched, he mentioned TRON, EOS, etc. L1s were still the main hype and back then TRON was still seen as an obvious hustle scam but was higher in ranks so it held some hype
- a leaked TRON newsletter that announced a chainlink integration was once posted here, it could have been a fake but I think it really was TRON hustlers leaking the info too early, possibly breaking the agreed upon marketing plans with Chainlink

Statera is similar to Chainlink but it's not the same. in 2017 the entire board was flooded with link memes. literally most of the threads were about link. People in link threads spoke about the tech and debated with fudders why they were wrong and why the project was so bullish and they had really good arguments. I was told quite a few times to read the white paper and when I did I was floored. The sentiment around link was that it had to succeed or else crypto would fail and that it had no competitors. Sta on the other hand doesn't have to succeed.

Sta threads do have great memes and the sentiment is the same. We also have a designated make it stack size of 100k sta and official ranks.
