this current fork has 100% of the non-ref hash rate. mining is centralized in china by 12 people who hate core.

bch and btc1 is a group effort, since they work together to guarantee that core loses the repo. again they have 100% of the hash.

a 100% hash loss. right now you can check, too, on the hash rate. think really really hard about what that means.

op here, im confused too. which is why the questions. i was giving different contradictory possibilities and no matter what angle you go at, there doesn't seem to be a reason to hold btc other than for speculation.

seriously if the internet and telephone were bubbles with decade long pops how can that not happen to bitcoin? the deflationary meme has always been a lie too, and the btc maximalists have the balls to both lie about btc being deflationary and then lie and say eth is inflationary.

so btc holders are either lying or holding an inflated asset riding off the crypto tech developments in the sector, on name alone, even tho btc will never scale.

its a fucking bubble

hypothetically, could a bitcoin bubble ever form? lets say bitcoin rises 10x a month like clockwork. people see this, and one month it gets overbought and rises 100x, and everyone who says "bubble" gets shot the fuck down by the rise forever deflation hype. then it goes (hypothetically again, im not questioning the hodl gospel or our prophet satoshi!!) into a year long correction.

i know we are clearly not in a bubble since bitcoin must rise forever regardless of transaction fees, competition, or network speed... but in theory could it happen?
