you idiots are so fucking gullible, implementation of aggregation/reputation has not even started, let alone been completed.

And reputation/aggregation are absolutely crucial for the network to function in a decentralized way, and even AFTER that they need to test that its all working correctly

you've given 32 million dollars to a Russian who has a history of abandoning projects, and you're excited before the core pillars of decentralized oracles have even been developed. Pathetic

that's why I believe they don't share the entire code, they want to onboard as many node operators as possible that's why they are very active to help you with setting up a node so that when the entire code is released they have enough people to run their nodes that will be ready to go and know what to do, whereas someone who forks it right after the release would have to train all the node operators from scratch. That's why the token is so important.
I remember reading somewhere that before Sergey decided to do the ICO he was wondering if the tokens would be enough of an incentive to onboard node operators and make sure the network has a healthy start. That's why I believe there will be no singularity because if LINK went up to $50 overnight people would just start selling, I mean why even bother running a node when you're already a millionaire with your stack, that's why I think Sergey will want a steady growth in price to keep the node operators happy and make them believe the price growth will continue in an organic way, whereas a huge pump would cause a lot of chaos in the network with node operators cashing out and LINK being treated purely speculatively
The token's price is very important for the network against what many people believe, if the node operators didn't believe LINK will go up they wouldn't even bother setting up nodes because usd-wise it's not gonna be some crazy income, but if link keeps going up the tokens earned today would be worth a lot 1month later.
That's why I laugh at all the fudders saying
>hurr why not get paid in eth
who would even bother to purchase a lot of eth for collateral and then make some boomer gains from the node. There has to be a monetary incentive, people have to have their skin in the game to be motivated to run nodes.

So for each smart contract platform, link will ultimately created oracle smart contracts on those platforms...thats where the blockchain agnostic part comes in

but what about the token, the currency itself? will it remain an ethereum token, or are they going to code their own blockchain one day? in the whitepaper section 5.5. seems like no plans for moving the token to other platforms

anyone not a complete fucking retard here who wants to actually discuss whats going on?

He probably doesn't tweet because he doesn't want 4chan retards to ruin his project by replying to him with pepe and link memes. If anything that makes me trust he's an intelligent man that won't let bad PR ruin his project.

If you buy into projects based on the social media activity of them I feel honestly bad for you. Startups shouldn't advertise themselves unless they're trying to get funding or presenting a finished product. Chainlink isn't doing neither at this moment.

This project is unronically dead

I sold back in November thinking I was making a risky decision, but my gains have gone 10x since then and chain link has done less than 2x.

fucking pathetic
