Just if here are still any idiots who don't understand basic trading. The current situation is called a dip and you should BUY now. I know your are thinking:

>hmm Bitcoin Cash is going up right now. I should BUY now

That means you are doing it WRONG. Instead you should think

>hmm every coin is going down. I should buy now

ez money desu

Part 2:

So let’s try estimating the potential income from staking tokens. Essentially if Request captures just 1% of Paypal's current transaction volume (paypal currently has an annual transaction volume of $400 billion), then 100k tokens (around $6k at ICO price) will net token stakers approximately $3.4k per year.

The reasoning is as follows:
One percent of Paypal’s current annual volume amounts to $4 billion in annual transaction volume. At a 0.5% transaction cost (the transaction cost that Request will initially start with) this becomes would mean they receive $20 million in transaction fees.
Then assuming a circulating supply of 650,000,000 tokens (a good amount is locked up in the team rewards, as well as a development fund), this equates to an income of 3.08 cents per token.

Then if we assume that like OMG, half of fees to go token stakers, this becomes 1.54 cents per token, and then finally if we assume that 50% of the circulating supply is being staked we end at an income of 3.08 cents per token.

Thus with only 1% of Paypal’s current volume, owning 100k REQ (around $5000 at current prices) already yields an annual income of $3.08k per year.

Also consider that Paypal is currently valued around $80 billion- so again 1% of that would put Request's value at around $800 million. This doesn't even account for the fact that the staking returns will also have to be priced into the total market cap.

So what I'm saying is that capturing even 1% of Paypal's transaction volume easily puts the Request market cap above a billion dollars.

Seemed pretty obvious to sell it off soon after the big exchanges hit considering they have no actual platform until at least Q1 2018

Don't get me wrong, LINK is gonna do great in the time to come, but on the other hand Request is by far the best ICO of this month and is pretty much guaranteed to at least 3x once we hit the big exchanges.

If I were in your position I would go all in on Request- you should be looking to increase the value of your portfolio as fast as possible and this is the fastest way to do it.

After you've sold off a big portion of your REQ you can always look for a nice dip to get back into LINK (will definitely be a solid long-term token to store your gains in), but in your situation I would recommend selling off your LINK for those sweet, sweet ICO gains.

Sold it all at 4-5x on liqui to get into Chainlink.

Barring some truly exceptional announcement it's only going to be a slow bleed down between now and Q1 2018, just like ZRX is also slowly bleeding down all the way until the first exchanges on their protocol go live.

Would recommend KNC holders sell now for more lucrative short-term projects, and maybe buy in around december/january if you really believe in the project, so before the platform launch hype really begins.

It was an interesting journey. I started off late august during the peak of the bull run, and was around 40% down two weeks into it, at which points I was shitting my pants.

Luckily I went balls deep in Kyber, sold off my Kyber tokens at an average of 4x ICO price, and then parlayed Kyber gains into the Chainlink ICO (although didn't buy everything at ICO price, also picked up like half of my LINK stack on Etherdelta before we blew up on binance). Then I sold off a third of my LINK (was all in on LINK) for ODN at 12k sats, and now I'm sitting at 15k.

Gonna be hodling a large chunk of my LINK for a while, and planning to sell off enough LINK and ODN to fill up 2 accounts for the Request ICO, which should also be a good one.

I probably got pretty lucky, but if you just stick to the 1-2 legit ICOs that come through every month and park your gains in secure long-term oriented tokens (LINK for me, currently) then you can really make a lot of money.

You're only allowed one fuck up my man. LINK also had a tough time starting out because of the shitty way they conducted their ICO (I'm balls deep on LINK so no need to give me the shill post of why what they did was fine, I don't really care at this point).

2 strikes and you're out, though, and I don't think Enigma as a project has the originality to be able to survive.

For what it's worth I hope I'm wrong for your sake, but I don't think I will be.
