Everywhere I read stories about loneliness, depression and general aimlessness of young guys (age 20-30). People don't realize how many people are lonely nowadays, it's insane. In the past a foreveralone was basically a geeky weirdo, but now even normal guys are lonely. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that traditional places where men would meet (clubs, fraternities, sports groups and so on) are becoming less and less. How can we change this? This whole world is catered towards women it seems.

Combine that with a low chance of making something of yourself in this world, and almost no chance to buy an affordable house.

I know this is 4chan and we like to make fun of only autists visiting this place but I notice this trend in all western countries.
