The character designs have turned to shit and China would probably laugh at them. There's a reason why they enjoyed playing as Blood Elves and not Pandarens.

Coding is about motivation. If you aren't motivated you are not ready. You need long, long, LONG, steady stream of motivation.

Sers, how much should one ask for a token grant, say 4-year-vesting, in a crypto startup? Let's say there are less than 20 people currently and you're still *early*. 0.25% for 4 years (0.0625% annually), or am I selling myself short?

Hear me out. If a coin has staking, then it has inflation, so if everyone staked than no one beats inflation. The benefit of staking is greater when less people stake.

Now, for the dollar, the fed funds rate is essentially the "staking" rate right? So now that most cash is digital, almost all money is in banks, and banks are neutered by regulation they aren't investing deposits in anything. So almost all cash is staking.

Doesn't this mean that interest rates can never really be positive in real terms? Its like a coin where everyone is staking. It doesn't matter if the rate is 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, etc. You can never beat inflation because everyone is getting the same rate. Its not like 1970 anymore where most people use paper cash to spend so there was a two tier system where saving in a bank or bonds could be beneficial over cash.

So is the fed retarded, or am I retarded? I seems like raising rates will just increase inflation more instead of providing any more incentive to save money like it would in the past.

How retarded are we talking?
do you have a metamask? Any crypto?

basic idea is to:
install metamask (https://metamask.io)
get crypto via either an exchange (like binance) [slower and lower fees] or a ramp (like ramp.network) [faster but higher fees]
If you went the exchange route you need to withdraw it to your metamask wallet address, if you use a ramp just fill in your address
make sure you are withdrawing to the correct chain for the app you want to used
then most yield farming protocols have web apps that connect to your metamask and will walk you through the deposit process.

It will be held in an Ethereum account, which is a data slot in the Ethereum blockchain, which is a kinda globally distributed database. This account is identified via an Ethereum address, a hexadecimal ID associated with your account. You can use this address the look at the contents of your account from everywhere, not just from your MetaMask plugin, but also from external sites like etherscan.org. All Ethereum blockchain state is public after all. Your account/address can hold all kinds of data, ETH balances and balances of other tokens are usually the most common things that are stored within it. If you execute a swap on Uniswap, the shitcoin of your choice will also end up in said account, under the same address.

What MetaMask does for you is to manage the secret key needed to access your Ethereum account. This usually comes in the form of a set of key words (usually 12, sometimes 24 common English words) that MetaMask uses as the ultimate source of your secret key. You should physically write these words down somewhere, if you haven't done so already, so you can regain access to your account if your computer ever fucks up for some reason. Not only that, you can also enter these keywords in any other wallet of your choosing (say Brave's integrated wallet) and use that instead (or in parallel to MetaMask).
