I have never seen people be so deluded in a mass hysteric frenzy for a single coin and then get pwned so hard.

It really does feel like divine retribution sent out specifically to punish the autistic basement dwelling freaks who populate this board.

God is true, God is great! Chainlink hell forever!

Realistically, how high do we see Link going by EOY?

$1 is honestly a bit disappointing considering all the moon missions happening right now. So I hope it can somehow get to $3-4 around that time or at least by Q1 2018.

sure it's still well above ICO price, but you guys were shilling it as "cheap" when it was $0.40

now that double conferences are over, it's going to be a slow long wait to see if any of these potential partnerships actually pan out.

admit it. you guys were in for short-term profits, and you got absolutely hosed.

does anyone not admit this? step forward.

And you were calling it FUD because you thought Sergey was a genius and he's been working on it for 3 years?

Well, turns out, in the announcement, they've only managed to figure out what programming language they're going to use and they've just begun hiring devs to "implement" the network described in their white paper.

The SIBOS proof of concept was just that, a proof of concept, which SWIFT was not too hot on. They have NO implementation currently. Get out LINK now. It will be 2 years before anything gets done.

lesson: token economics = everything

so monaco finally accomplished their goal of Visa sponsorship, but their price plummeted, why? because they took away the tokens' 1% dividends. people realized they're effectively worthless, only used to order new cards.

i keep hearing people talking about "moon moon sibos revolutionary tech moon banks moon oracles" but EVEN IF link turns out to change the world, is used everywhere, is adopted by financial institutions, etc. - in this best case scenario, there's still missing an economic argument for why this UTILITY TOKEN will astronomically increase in price, especially when 65% are still not in circulation.

so, linkies, you can jack off and wet your panties all day over the tech. you may even be correct about that. but until you solve the TOKEN ECONOMICS PROBLEM, you may well be a poor street-shitting pajeet no matter whether sergey solves the oracle problem.

What is it about this shitcoin that made it so damn attractive, uniquely, among 4chan? It seems it really only caught on here. For example, people on reddit were instantly skeptical, or dismissive. While here, it earned near universal adoration and acclaim. Why this disparity? We need to identify and isolate these factors so that /biz/ doesn't fall for something like this again

You people really need to learn the difference between a "working" product and a "finished" product.

At this point we know that ChainLink has a working product as opposed to the FUD that its just a JSON parser at this point. Do you really think there would be a "Proof of Concept" in SIBOS for a JSON parser. You can only do a proof of concept once there is a working product.

What Confido is asking for is a finished product. If dapps can already use ChainLink as an Oracle seamlessly at this point then there would be NO NEED for additional development since it would already be a FINISHED PRODUCT. Only minor patches.

Then why would Sergey hire more developers just like they announced if its already a FINISHED product and not a WORKING product?

Don't you see the disconnect? You guys know that they are hiring more devs because of the recent announcement and suddenly you're confused that its only a WORKING product and not a FINISHED product?

At this point, all dapps have no choice but to use a centralized Oracle like Oraclize like they've always had. Etheroll has been using Oraclize since launch. There has always been centralized oracles. Thats the problem ChainLink is trying to solve.

I have seen a lot of FUD lately surrounding ChainLink and a lot of people losing faith. While everyone is waiting for news to drop, here is what we know about ChainLink as of now.

PARTNERS:
Here are some names of companies that ChainLink is working with, or at the VERY least has contacts with.

SWIFT: This one should be obvious to everyone by now. They just gave a working demo for SWIFT at SIBOS. They even state on the smartcontract website that they are indeed WORKING WITH SWIFT. The cheeky bastards even have SWIFT subtely underlined, as shown here:

SONY & AXA: We all know who SONY is. Axa is the largest holder of financial derivatives in the world. It's a trillion dollar market. All three parties have signed a smart contract that deals with varying levels of insurance coverage depending on firewall uptime on May 9th 2016, viewable here:

FACTOM: Factom and ChainLink have been working together since 2016. You can view Factom's announcement about it here:

CONFIDO: A new company that is using ChainLink to pull shipping data from off-chain. See following website about this here:
