Is inflation as policy theft and or a tool for slavery?

If I lend you money and then devalue that money by 2% each year and you can only pay me back in the money you borrowed then you are forever going to be in debt to me the issuer of that money right?

Instead of decimal point notation it would be easier and straightforward for adoption if the Satoshi were used as representing a whole figure such as 1 penny for starters no?
