Outside of XSwap, a new project that was heavily farmed until their airdrop, there hasn't been anything decent go live yet. Hence the low fees.
But GHO will be the start of real projects going live.
This is just like price feeds, where it took around a year for users and feeds to really ramp up.
Those who were here at that time will remember this classic pasta:
>2 year test net
>8 months main net
>nobody can name a single dapp with users using Chainlink oracles in production
>(with proof link to dapp.com/dappradar/etherscan)
>Linkers: this is bullish!

Also wait for the CCIP aggregator volume:
>By optimizing for higher transaction volumes, with lower per-user costs, CCIP is now one of the most cost-efficient solutions for transferring many of the most popularly bridged tokens. As CCIP gets integrated into more applications, such as bridge aggregators, this competitive advantage is anticipated to result in increased market share and the acceleration of CCIP’s adoption.

because it's not really live
this is what they do with all their new products
an initial mainnet phase which is essentially further testing
we had the exact same thing with price feeds which lead to this classic old pasta:
>2 year test net
>8 months main net
>nobody can name a single dapp with users using Chainlink oracles in production
>(with proof link to dapp.com/dappradar/etherscan)
>Linkers: this is bullish!

but we're seeing signs of early partners starting to go live
see stake.link's tweet today:
https://twitter.com/stakedotlink/status/1758192181058195725

can track them here:

the chainlink way, months of testing with select partners on limited use cases and then open it up
ccip GA must be soon as they are letting some smaller projects go live on mainnet
first users were minor implementations from aave and snx

aave's full implementation is in their governance now but will still be months off

This.

Daily reminder that once a crypto has gone through one of bitcoin’s halvings it can never again recover its dominance against bitcoin. There doesn’t exist a single example of this rule being broken. Chainlink unironically going to $27 next run but not a single dollar higher once bitcoin is at its peak.

Sorry linkers, if the circulating supply hadn’t increased by 40% and Sergey hadn’t suppressed the bullish news $140 would be possible. How sad.

It started the other way around. It used to be:

>ctrl + f LINK
>0 results found
>yawn

On every fucking webpage or document that was obviously (or not so obviously) talking about LINK.

Honerable mention to the guy that used to spam:

>Mainnet out for 3 months, 0 active users
>Linkers: This is bullish!

Lmao this dude was absolutely mental. Still look back on him kind of nostalgic. Every now and then I read something and think in my head "Linkers: this is bullish!". Cracks me up

this is how chainlink operates
paranoid slow rollouts, you should have seen the fud with price fees initially, was intense

>2 year test net
>8 months main net
>nobody can name a single dapp with users using Chainlink oracles in production
>(with proof link to dapp.com/dappradar/etherscan)
>Linkers: this is bullish!

if you check the initial usage spikes you'll see that was before the actual announcement, so it was just mainnet testing
i would expect first actual volume from this integration:
https://www.sushi.com/blog/sushi-boosts-cross-chain-swap-with-chainlink-ccip-integration-1
apparently that's coming before the end of the year but wouldn't be surprised if we see it q1

What’s sad is that most linkers have nothing going on for them and their only way of coping with life is hopium and telling themselves. “This is the year”, “Soon”.

While there are bullish news that greatly benefit chainlink labs as a company, they don’t translate to the link token appreciating in value.

Sergey also has 300 million link specifically allocated for “company use”. What is company use? Whatever Sergey decides it to be. Maybe a vacation, retirement, buying a lambo (like the lambo he bought for his dad).

Truth is, he already made it and you were left behind.
