I know board is fucking dead because we have been bear for a while, but if there is any anon with dev experience or enough technical knowledge to form an opinion on the prospects of projects built on Substrate? I've been looking into aleph zero for a while and I like the project, but I feel like its success is dependent at least in part on the growth and success of the DOT ecosystem, in order to build confidence in projects that have been built on substrate. I know that dot is supposedly only behind eth as far as active developers, but I want to hear from /biz/ whether you think the silver haired nonce has created an ecosystem that has long term potential.

Do you think dot will actually be a useful ecosystem in the future? I'm thinking about buying Aleph Zero but I figure if DOT is fucked its DOA
