Gamestop is an overvalued stock by a lot even before the meme, the hedgies were unironically right about shorting the stock. If you invest in it now, the only way you will turn a profit if le epic short squeeze meme happens. It doesn't look like it's going to happen and if that meme never happens you are just throwing your money to the people who are getting out.
In my opinion it was a pump and dump, and we are now on the dump part of it, if you go in now, you are just throwing away money.

Well, if you buy gamestop right now, and you don't time the squeeze right, you will be left holding bags because it is crazy inflated. You will lose money because gamestop will never return to a stock price above 20$
AMC on the other hand is still very cost effective. AMC is now primed to make a return to profitablity as soon as this summer. You can buy it now and never look at the market until August and you will make a profit.
As a bonus, the GME squeeze is expected to happen sooner than the AMC squeeze. Owning AMC will have the benifit of at least having a vague idea of what we are in for. Also, when GME bros do their thing and make their nut, they are not just walking away, they are going to turn their attention to AMC. While AMC isn't probably going to hit the levels of GME, buying in now will get you those multiples that the people who bought GME weeks ago enjoy, so less risk.
At least that's my opinion.
But make no mistake, there will be an AMC squeeze despite what all these shills say.
