I don't plan on selling my bbbyq, ever, although I will probably let some teddy go when it's done being a butterfly. As for the why, that would be because bbbyq is on the pink limited market which is the expert market as a result of their filing to change their name and cancel/delete all existing bbbyq shares - so that equity in the acquiring entity can be issued in their place, presumably with some sort of ratio but 1 to 1 would be cool too. This could lead to volatility in the market in the event certain market participants were being naughty and selling what they didn't own, but they never do that so I'm sure things will be fine and this will just be a simple transaction handled in the next two-ish weeks. As for why it's all happening, I really do think it's mostly just because it's funny.
