Anyone got a tutorial link on how to import specifically the face in Honey Select?
I want to use/replace a .obj.fbx/w.e. face asset into the Honey Select's face system, in other words, how to import a face not created previously in Honey Select, but one created in another software.

and your title is budget builds. did you really think you could get away with that? I mean, if you wanted a real budget build you could craigslist the stuff and find the cheapest parts. Seriously,

the shape looks easy enough, besides the material is really soft, you just sand out the shape

just use some modeling foam and sculpt it
afterwards you use that model as a positive in a plaster mold that you can then use for making a ceramic vase, the only pricey thing in here is the ceramic but you can probably get some free at your school or something

>>pic related thats modeling foam

Welp nevermind that, I continued without that, it was more work but it was worth it.
I can't believe how fun this is, even though the end results are shit, could have moved the handle a little bit but wasn't sure about the placement, it still made me happy that I made it whole.
Comparison, mine is on the left.

Hey, that did the trick!
But the next thing I was suppose to do is to change the resolution of the circle to 1 until it becomes a shape with 4 edges, I followed the steps and looked if I have the same preferences but to no avail.
Pic related - it's how its suppose to look but my handle is still round

If he's passionate about it, than for fuck's sake give him a chance and give him more fire, motivate him as a mentor! So what if he's incompetent, everyone is until learned or did you just want to throw his life away just like that? As a professional 3D artist, your boss now gave you a new job, a job to teach that sad clueless little man, so TEACH HIM! He's been just dreaming about aliens and spacerafts? Then teach him in that direction, don't be a lazy good-for-nothing teacher! And if he's been plagiarizing, you need to teach him is some prime/standard manners, honesty and credit towards other people, even though it's a bad thing he did, you could conclude that he showed at least some interest to this profession! Here's your chance to bestow your skills to live on thru younger generations, all you'll have to concentrate on is to be patient towards him and above all, don't make him lose hope and give up!!!
I always wanted to get a mentor for this, hell I'd even kill for a chance to be tutored, but there's simply no help to get anywhere.
That kid has a chance.
You have the key.
Make it happen!

What my friend said, laptops with price range within 500eu should be solid for these days anything above and beyond is just a scam.
Found something a bit better tho, for graphics at least if it IS better
Processor: AMD
-Frequency: AMD Quad-Core A6–6310 (1.8 GHz L2 2MB) boost clock 2.4 GHz (its 50eus pricier but the procesor is worse then the previous one for some reason??)
-Graphic card: AMD Radeon R series - AMD Radeon R4 GPU
-Ram: 4 GB DDR3L (1600 MHz) PC3–12800, en prosti slot(one free slot), do(up to) 16 GB
Furthermore, if this ain't good for 3d programs than whats optimal for them?
Thanks for the help, I have actually expected nothing, but you've all given me some useful info so far.

>> No.485593 [View]

hey guys, saw this thread, thought I'd join in.
Looking for cheap laptops that can run some medium demanding games and programs for 2d or 3d animation
All i found was some laptops with price range within 300eu, currently I'm not ready to give more, unless if more money magically appears in front of me.
The stats were as following:
-Processor: 2.16 GHz Intel Turbo N2840 (says it can go up to 2.58)
-RAM: 4 GB DDR3
-Hard Drive: 500 GB HDD 7200 rpm
-Graphics Coprocessor: Intel HD Graphics
-Wireless Type: 802.11n
