It depends on the console, and in most cases, the specific game. For PSX games, DX ripper does not work as the ripped models have no z values, and are flattened. Your only option for these games is extracting the data from the iso, and most developers used proprietary file formats, so most games need a specifically hand-coded model viewer or extractor/converter. Modern titles are pretty much the same, but DX Ripper tends to work better and will give you correct UVs, textures, and in most cases, proportionate models.

tl;dr - If you want t-posed, you need to extract the data from the iso.

Hello, /3/. I have come to share with you the toils of my weekend labor. You might have seen my mediafire links "Lowpoly for agdg 1-3" floating around.
