One of the easiest ones. UI reminds me of Maya a lot too, but they're still quite different. I started with C4D and learning Maya was a bit of a pain, you might feel the same way the other way round. First one's always the easiest.

Check out the screen, going clockwise.

You got your move/rotate/scale on top, then next to it render buttons, next to those primitives/splines/modifiers/scene settings like lights and backgrounds.

On the upper right is your hierarchy, bottom right are tool specific settings(Here project settings). Literally every setting for every tool will appear here. I had to click through tons of menus in Maya to find everything that's just there in C4D.

On the bottom you have your animation timeline and below that your materials.

On the left you choose between object/vertex/edge/polygon modes.

That's really all there is. You still get the V-Key/Space bar menu that allows you to quickly switch between everything. And you can just drag and drop whatever tool you want, wherever you want it.

Genuinely curious, what's up with all these low poly c4d questions? Last time we had such an influx of same topic threads was when some "3d school" gave out that wwII tanks assignment.

Not that I mind as a C4D user myself.

Also C4D general for all your dumb scrub questions.
