unfortunately not, no.
i can't even remember which damn forum it was posted on!
uuugh, it makes me feel so angry when i can't find any lead at all...

i somehow want to remember that he used a popular hair plugin for 3ds max, maybe Ornatrix?

i DO remember that he had a whole section dedicated to how he modeled and rendered the eyes, they were incredibly realistic.

the model was smiling, mouth a bit opened, semi to long hair, blonde or lighter haircolor.

oh, and just as for the eyes, he had a huge section dedicated towards the gum and how he textured the gum and teeth!

sorry for not being able to offer much to go on.

Hi.
If this somehow doesn't go with the rules (i've read them, and i think i'm in the clear), feel free to tell me/edit.

I'm searching for a project i saw somewhere on the web a while back.
It's a headsculpt, refined from a 3D scan.
The head is male. I'm not sure, but it could be a self-portrait or a portrait of a friend of the artist.

Age of model is around 20-30.

The textures are scanned from the models face.

The thread contains very detailed instructions of all steps.

The ONE thing i strongly remember is the way he presented the portrait in the thread.
There was a huge GIF, alternating between a black and white and full color version of the portrait.

It's probably the most realistic portrait i've seen, but i can't find it.

I'd appreciate any help i can get, thanks in advance.

(pic not related, new PC with no content on it)

i wouldn't say that i suck at art.
i would however claim that i have not studied 3d modeling, and my primary "talent" is texturing, composing and lighting.
calling textures "nothing" is pretty ignorant, especially if you yourself have any game/3D experience.

linking to gif.

no.
about 95% of the objects have been completely retextured by myself, but small and complex things such as the water shader and tiny flowers are just straight-up taken from the SDK folders.
i suck ad modeling, so the geometry is mostly imported and retextured by me.

would you look at that, some good criticism.
thank you.
just answering all of this at once:
1:i will probably render out a gif to show it in motion. it looks good in a still, but in motion it really shows the leaves falling, grass moving etc.
2: yeah, i need to extend it. alot. The one thing that is keeping me from it though is the information they gave at the information day. they dais that they'd rather see detailed work on what you REALLY are good at, not a broad selection of stuff you kind of know.
would simply clogging the background with trees pull of the illusion of a thick forest? the problem will be the pretty reflections and light falling through the trees on the left disappearing.
3: color correction might be added if time allows.
i will post moar, since i got some pretty awesome response.
cya in a few.

thanks. the grass can easily be fixed, just a bending parameter. though i don't have time to make more versions for the trees. will they work or should i try to blend them with some other ones?

please treat my anus gently, first post.
asking for some critique on this one.
its sole purpose is to get me into a game design program here in sweden. task was to create something appealing and basically show off skills.

what would you guys (preferrably someone from the business) say about this?

kind regards and thanks in advance

(note: early stage modeling, i want to learn the method before continuing.)

Hi.
I have a scene where a ball bounces down a set of stairs, and eventually reaches the floor and wall.
I want the ball to be rigid all the way down, and then fracture when it makes contact with the floor.
how can i achieve this?
I have Catastrophe installed, i can download Thrausi, and Nitroblast is on my harddrive aswell.
Cinema4D R14 Studio is used.

thanks in advance.
