thats not how it works. If you dont watch tutorials, you are self taught. If you pirate tutorials or watch tutorials you are taking someone elses work (usually a professional teacher) and using them to shape you. Everyone knows this. Everyone in the teaching world acknowledges this

that wasnt the thing in question. Everything is publically available on a github open source project. You pulled the rug out from under us - the fact is the only way to get random walk sss in principled node by default is to get 2.8 or go to some murky backwater experimental build.

And, the truth is, having checked Gleb's youtube he does in fact use 2.8. He has over 3 videos of him exclusively using 2.8 and doing tuts on it so whoop de fucking doo

Turns out Blenderseed sucks ass. Terrible integration in 2.79. (doesnt work in 2.8)

In 2.8 Randomwalk is fast and denoising is great. I rendered and denoised this in about 20 seconds.

I have a 8700k non overclocked. My gpu is a 750ti and i have no money to upgrade it to anything else. Lets chat about CPU renderers itt so I can make the most of what little I have.

I rendered this with the free renderer Mitsuba about 6 months ago on the 8700k, took about 10 min.
