dont worry, nobody cares if the fingers are separate or not, you will learn to deal with it with retopo and using base meshes in time, for now just sculpt at the pose you want, will help you practice your form and anatomy

Learn from the big names that do classes, scot eaton, ryan kingslien
there is a reason they are considered masters and looked up to by so many artists

while they dont have lol so epic folios, the form seen in their work is just amazing to look at for sculptors

Try maybe baking a ao pass and inserting it as saturation and darken pass, cheap, but often helps making shapes pop out.

Mushroom granny ?
I like the fact you did a full bake texture and rig.
But the design itself isnt that great in my opinion.

You got this mushroom body with a human like face, i would go for something more stylized with the mouth being as wide as the shoulders and give it big poping eyes to give it more consistency.
Stubby hands dont help also, i would go 1 thumb and one big glove for rest and bigger hands so its more easy to read at low poly counts.
