Renders in Maya are still taking a half hour. How do I set this up properly for use with Maya/Premiere/After Effects? I am using the latest drivers.

Back to the drawing board for me. What I want is something in performance like the 780ti but with 6gb of memory. Black Titan seems to have that, but what I'm interested in is the price drop for the 780ti or the first titan.

Whatever comes out will most likely cause a price drop anyway for any of the cards.

There is no 6gb 780ti on the market yet. If there were, the Titan would become completely irrelevant.

Thinking about picking up a 780ti myself. Don't expect to find ones over 3 GB. If you really need more memory, maybe a Titan will be right down your alley. It's a hybrid between a gaming and compute card, performs a little slower than the 780ti, has 6 GB but is 1k.

For free, yeah. I have a job to leverage this but I have no idea what gpu to get that doesn't suck for games as well.

I can spend up to $800 if I'm lucky but I'm worried about the heat that the 290X generates and I will not be water cooling. I will be using Maya, After Effects, Premiere, and maybe some Blender and 3DSMax in the future.
