It's clever because a 2d entity would perceive the third dimension to be an axis which, mathematically, it is.
Incidentally there's a possibility our reality is actually 2D but appears 3D because we individually are unable to get far enough away to see it.
The reasoning for this is:
1) the amount of matter that can fit into a blackhole is the radius squared but it should be the radius cubed
2) planck units reduce the universe to binary
3) holographic universe theory

I'm making them in zBrush, still new to this, only actively been using it for 3 months now.
The model is printed with an Anycubic Photon S, so it's just an upper cheapshit range printer. Anycubic has their own software called Photon Slicer, there is also Chitubox and some others, they're all very similiar and do the same thing. They're all free to download, so if you wanna look into it you can.
It's seperated into parts that are keyed together to reduce the need for print supports and for easier painting. Putting parts together also has some nostalgic value, imo.
I also used to be active on /tg/ and stopped paying attention to this hobby a while ago, but being able to make your own minis and reproduce them as often as I want kinda revived my love for the hobby.
