I usually make low poly anime stuff. For texturing i do solid colors only with toon shaders slapped for shadows. I have general knowledge compressing textures in one UV map and using UV offsets to change facial textures and i can do full body rigging too.
At most i would be fine in doing this for 30-60$ since i live in a third world country. Am i undervaluing myself? if so what are the rates usually?
I post in /wip/ sometimes. I just want to try to make some side money while im doing college and i do have time since im doing trimesters.
This is a serious thread. I just want to help off lessen the burden in my college fees somehow since someone is helping with my tuition.

But here's the thing about freelance work: you're not the only guy doing it. You're going to haft to face the reality that someone out there is going to better than you. People are going to outbid you and once the client agrees to the price it's going to be for so little the work will be pretty much pointless.

If you know what you're doing, you can get a small steady flow of income. But it's nothing to live off or to depend on. Most people think that once they go freelance its a world of opportunity and they're going to make millions!.

if your third world shit hole country is really that bad than you need extra income to lessen the stress of your college fees I'd suggest just uploading your work to places like turbo squid and put a price tag on it.
Like make a fully riggable character thats textured and game ready and put it up for 10 dollars. If you time yourself to be quick you can dish out quite a lot of work to upload. and who knows? Maybe someone will buy it, and will spread the word. and so on so forth.

Though to me what it sounds like is that you need a casual job. You mentioned you're doing a trimester so you have at least some extra time to do something.
