Hi, /3/, the title is called Blender標準テクニック ローポリキャラクター制作で学ぶ3DCG. It's about to find a complete info of this. I need it to know how to model a character like this.
I searched it in nyaa.si, piratebay and nothing.
Someone can say me where I can find the complete PDF?

Buy it from Amazon like everyone else you poorfag

Why? It's outdated as fuck by now and as much as I adore their 2D work, Japanese are not exactly known for their innovative and extraordinary 3D work

Also, modelling a model like that is just the usual, low poly and GOOD texture painting skills. That's literally it. Not even mad material wizardry, just really good at painting shit.

Blunders have no proper western tutor to look up to so they have to read moon runes to find one. Pitiful.

I actually went through the trouble of getting a jap amazon account to purchase this book- and it wasn't worth it actually. The guy's methods of modeling the characters is retarded and wastes unnecessary time. For example, pic related is how he models the faces of the characters.

Honestly your better off looking at those japanese tutorials on how to make your kawaii anime waifus on youtube/free
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjdePL8SGQE
video is in english + uses zbrush- but it explains more on the fundamentals of anime faces rather than how to use the software, so you can sculpt on another software. I've seen people use blender to make rough sculpts so they can outline the basic shapes to retopo over.

And the end result looks like MMD shit

It's pretty much the only way to acquire these Jap modeling books though. Try and find some of the dozens that are available on jp amazon, you can't. A few years ago, an anon went through the process of buying pic related on kindle so he could rip it, he had to use a proxy and buy an amazon jp gift card on some third party site just to circumvent some kinda region restriction they have in place. He ended up posting it on a thread, and it's probably gone and done already never to be seen again because nobody bothered to save it. You can probably find OP's book if you search hard enough because it was in that same thread. But unless you buy the other ones, good luck trying to find this stuff on CGpeers or whatever, realistically almost nobody is going to bother archiving these books somewhere for gaijins due to the big language and regional barriers in place.

Disclaimer, I bought and own a few paperbacks, including the one on the pic. They're very decent if your thing is animu girls in zbrush and I honestly think worth the money if you're considering a career in 3D printing sculpts as they assume you're a total beginner and guide you through the entire process over the course of 250-300 pages.

I think they know that you can't replicate the thing exactly, even more so since they're books for beginners, so they're just trying to give you enough information so that you get it "close enough". This is even the terminology the authors may use in some of those books.

What would be the japanese word equivalent for "guide" or "tutorial" if I wanted to look up video instructions? Do they even do video guides or are they still confined to the era of paper?

>> No.697789

>>697787
I would not know, the most adequate thing that comes to mind would be 作り方(how to make/proceedure) or 使い方(how to use). Try combining one of those with some other terms like Blender or 髪の毛 and you could get some results you want. Google translate is a big help in case you don't know the words for the search term you might be looking for like face or body or whatever.

I'd also not specifically search only on Youtube, go to niconicodouga and do a sweep, you're much more likely to find amateur tutorials:

https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm35160474

https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm33988818

The stuff on Youtube seems to be mostly by professionals covering their workflows or something related to a book they're selling, the most prescient one being that MDN book series of videos. Those are really meant for you to follow along with the literature though, in case there's something you don't really get how to do in text.

They were giving away the CGWORLD books for free on kindle unlimited so I ripped as many as I could. May 2016 - May 2019.

Japs don't really have a big piracy scene.
And for the little they do have you either have to install some shitty jap only nottorrents peer to peer software or find some shady chink or gook websites.

Don't let they fancy toilets with buttons and toy robots fool you, Japs are unironically still years of not decades behind in technology and software and love to suck corporate cock oh so much.

at least japs get paid for their jobs.

People like to bring up the low birth rate meme- but they forget that overpopulation is the reason why 3rd world shitholes are the way they are, africans have to shove their heads up cow's asses just to get hydrated. Its better to have less mouths to feed "just in case" something goes wrong like the economy suddenly collapses or an earthquake happens.

Also its fucking difficult to completely get rid of one race- even if you rain nukes, there'll be a few scattered around the globe for them repopulate.
