So... no-no for color-critical applications, unless (I suppose) you buy into whatever proprietary calibration solution they'll be coming up with? P3 is nice, tho.

Honestly, the tone and content of the presentation seems directed at prosumers, not professionals. I mean, how's brightness a main selling point, when lighting conditions at work are strictly controlled to match dim viewing environments?

That is possibly the most distasteful computer case I have ever laid eyes upon.
What really troubles me looking at is knowing just how many well paid people was involved in it's conception.

It looks like what one might put to pen after strolling into kitchen appliances over at IKEA while jacked on something.

Turns out it was designed by this man, he's apparently now the head of a new Apple design division called 'Steve-jobs'.

A leaked design document details it is a celebration of trypophobia and women in the workplace by design reminding of the kitchen space.

>> No.685301

It really looks flimsy, it's footprint way too small and would easily be knocked over, I guess the bottom must be made out of some ultra heavy alloy and that's why it cost a thousand bucks.

If so that is well worth the price to have a monitor stand that looks all retarded but makes for an excellent conversation piece.

>"that monitor cost 5k? holy shit and that tiny stand looks like it'll tip over if nudged.."
>"naw man, the bottom plate is filled with a alloy of depleted uranium and gold, to knock it over you must use a force that would've broken the monitor anyway"
>"lol, what the hell?"
>"yeah, and the contact surface is made out of a nanotech cloth that mimics a gecko's feet, you could throw dart with this monitor stand and it'd stick to the wall
> you actually must hit it hard enough to flip the desk it's standing on to make it tip over."

That's basically all of Apple in a nutshell. That's all they do. None of their stuff is particularly "revolutionary" anymore, and it hasn't been for a while now.
