Anyone have any experience with Marvelous Designer? Can it be used to make armor as well? I've been looking in to it recently, I mostly want to dress characters for use in games.

I did, I wanted input from anons here who may have used it. I don't think they used MD to create the armor in that link

Thanks for redpilling me. I read some users found tricks to make armor but it seems like it might be best to do so in a different program

I've seen it used well for things like crumpled cans and whatnot but you shouldn't use it for a suit of armor. software that come to mind that would be best suited for that would be fusion 360, 3ds max and modo. you can use other programs like maya and blender and even something like zbrush but I wouldnt recommend them if you really want to get into hard surface work
