It's blatantly obvious that the hurpadurp face on the left could only have been made by a blendlet virgin, while the chiseled chad on the right was sculpted by a ZBrush wizard.

Left:
>clearly shows artist's personal style
>not looking the same as everyone else, stands out from the crowd, just like Blender
>has a lot of haters, but that just shows people care about it; everyone relevant will have haters

Meanwhile, right:
>unoriginal, extremely generic looking
>just one random bust in the sea of other equally mediocre looking busts
>plays it safe, afraid to be judged so doesn't put any personality in it, just like Zbrush users, a.k.a. industryfags

no you.

In all seriousness, it really does depend on the software, I've seen shit made on zBrush just as much as I've seen good shit made on it. And while Blender's sculpting tools are shit in comparison, it's not hard to get a decent result from it either. Maybe not as good as zBrush, but still, it all depends on the user. If you're shit, your art's shit. Which is why I don't post my crap.

While I like Blender it's sculpting is admittedly weak. I think it has something to do with their poorly optimized viewport which relies on opengl 1.4 so they never were able to make any real improvements. With Opengl 3.3 implementation I hope they eventually work on sculpting in 2.8+ releases.

The more I look at the left the more I like it. The natural lack of symmetry, the happiness in the smile. I kinda like it better. If they could combine the two I think it would be perfect. Mouth closed plus realistic non symmetry would be nice. It would be like if blender users and zbrush users got along and worked together.

To expand on my sneaky plotting picasso man, it's a really bad idea to value novelty over quality. Quality has unending depth, where novelty is quick to fade and be expended. Like a drug that needs a higher dosage each time, you're eventually going to be sucking massive dick to squeeze out more. The road of novelty leads to neither quality nor novelty.
