Probation at Techland. help

My probation is starting soon and im scared as fk couse I have to prove myself to hopefully get hired and If I mess up I feel like I will never find a job and give up on 3D for good. I worked once before at a small indie company for 7 months and its been a pain to find something else since then.

Any advices to not screw this up ?

Worked for them on some zombie titles, they arent that great at all compared to other AAA studios. Show us some work, will tell you if you fit. Dont get dtoo drunk on company party and dont delete whole fucking project repo from server and you'll be good.

They started from 10x10 binarized single digits and in three years they are producing realistic 1024x1024 human faces.

I'll be extremely surprised if they can't learn from booru tags and generate me a perfectly drawn waifu with my desired qualities by 2025.

the problem is with quantifying aesthetic beauty, there is research in the area but it isn't art directable. you can train on particular data sets and generate anything from picasso paintings from images to other perspectives but at the moment generalization performance and the insane classification problems that arise from trying to train on data sets more subtle than say picasso.

so we want to optimize as much as possible and figure out data sets perfectly

say we want a breakthough in empirical risk minimization in the next 5 years so we can replace every artist (and ignore the sociopolitical reaction to the notion) we'd have solved an NP hard problem and are already in the realm of science fiction
