Hello, i've been using these three softwares. (pic related) and i wonder are they good enough to develop a next-gen or current-gen game?
>is cinema 4d good enough for creating objects/animating?
>is mudbox good enough for modelling?
>is UDK good enough for game designing?

>> No.477488

This question makes no sense, so I guess you are not good enough.

A bit of that OP, yeah.
Artists should not be limited by tools.

>Artists should not be limited by tools.
But that's usually the #1 limiting factor...

No, artists ate the number one limiting factor, tools might be second

Also, op, we don't need more "game designers" in the world. Your question didn't even make sense.

No, lack of tool is always the limiting factor. Not op, but I don't have a tablet to do any work because I just cant afford anything worth buying. I had to give up texturing completely

You really are a bit dumb. You've bought into this false idea noobs often develop which is that you need a Intuos or Cintiq to draw of sculpt good work. But that is entirely false. The Bamboo series has 1024 pressure levels, which is what the Cintiq and Intuos series used to have not long ago, until they were bumped up to 2048 so that Wacom could have some "new" features in hopes of getting people to buy another tablet.

A Cintiq or Intuos isn't going to make you draw or sculpt better, nor will your lines look nicer. Stick with the cheaper, large surface area Bamboo series, you won't regret it.

so you'd rather not do work at all than buy a "lesser" tablet?

especially for texturing I hope you realize a bamboo would be easily sufficient

i work, but in non tablet areas. why waste money on shit i dont want?
