Hi. /g/ directed me here so I'll just repost this here.

I like doing stuff in LEGO Digital Designer for hobby purposes, but when I take screenshots of models they look like pic related, i.e. crap.

I read online that you can get pretty models rendered through Blender with the .ldr plugin, but for some reason it's not working for me. Then another option would be ldd2povray which doesn't seem to work with Wine for me (I tried all the installers they have listed on the page and it keeps saying "cabinet is not valid" when I run it with Wine).

Basically is there a way I could render LEGO models properly without installing Windows?
