So /3/ im looking into adding a snow fall effect to my scene but i dont quite know where to start. I guess an example for the quality of snow im looking for this would be a good example

3ds Max has a built-in Snow particle effect generator simulation THING that's pretty easy to use.

Use After Effects, if you want to cut down on a shitload if rendering time.

or download a green screen snow and chroma key that bitch in...looks even better if you run that on top of plugin like particular in after effects. will look like blizz quality from both effects. the green screen layer makes the snow look closer to the viewer and the generated snow makes it feel like there is snow behind the snow like dawwg i heard you like snow so snow snow snow snow snow snow snow snoooooww!
