actually no. they are blobmonsters alright, but the muscles and bones are exactly where they are supposed to be. If he used 15 less strokes on a muscle group, he would have a properly toned anatomy. I think he just oversculpted the muscles because lets face it, it's goddamn fun.

Thats a meaningless term if i ever saw one.
What you mean i assume is something more complex or more realistic. Sure, you could try making whole scenes or tell a story within zbrush work or go for that uncanny valley element where you just change a tiny small body feature on a character.

But one is pretty time consuming and requires much more clear vision rather than a 3h sculpt, and he other gets quite boring after you make the same base body 5x. You start asking yourself why dont i use the one i made previously, and the idea of search gets lost.

Now muscular monsters are what people usually start with but that dont make then inherently bad, proper anatomy and form still will take years to master, and there is a huge difference between a this type of model made by lets say jordu schell and some beginner.

Bottom lien who cares, as long as it looks good it is good.
