Loli detected.

*rapes you*

Why don't you make some loli/gfur shit, I bet some neckbeards here would actually pay for high quality animations lel

Do sell on TurboSquid - They take a percentage of the sale, but it allows you to sell your 3D Models online.
Usually props go pretty well.

Both Highend and Game is sold on Turbosquid.

Why not make DOTA 2 models. Those kiddies spend insane amounts of cash to make their 'heroes' look cool

I have a similar question that is relevant.
Could a modder make money from comissions /requests from server admins on a game that supports modding such as unreal, killing floor, or counter strike?
I make maps, player skins, and weapon skins for all the games i just mentioned and i thought about doing this. could it work?

Make models for planetside 2, dota 2, tf2, the developers pay a % of the money they get for selling the items with your model.

I tell you what I'd do if I had 3d modeling skillz: go on /a/ and get commissions from waifufags. Fuckers will pay out the ass for shit like that.

Cool wepon bro. I hope to see people making new wepons for KF2 now.
As for the question, I'm afraid not. Except for a few server owners that has a loyal player crowd and keep updating the server with new stuff. But they are rare and I'm not sure if they would be willing to pay. I searched for something similar in KF1, almost no server owner is even aware on how to mod their server.

I'd like to ask who made this model, mostly for the Polygon hair shader that they used on it.

It's kind of weird how all the textures are realistic but the eyes look they're painted on as if she's a doll. I guess it makes sense since she's a robot. Anyway it's still cute.

If you're good at mid to high poly stuff you can make lots of money selling content for Daz Studio and Poser.

skip the middleman and market directly to Tripwire. The 1st weapon pack was a polish run of the IJC Weapon Pack

I don't know how profitable it normally is but I'd be willing to pay for some custom materials if anyone's willing to make them.

>> No.429030

It becomes profitable after a lot of work. Selling models is hit or miss largely based on luck. Some models will never sell and some will make absurd amounts of cash. People who make a living out of it do so by playing the numbers game - IE they make hundreds of models.

It's definitely his hair shader, but the one in the OP blows all of this guy's work out of the water

I could never quite wrap my head around online transactions between individuals.

I mean, one party gives the money/model and the other takes it and fucks off--what then?

Here's an email, I can do shit cheap since I live in bumfuck nowhere.

I'll say from the get-go: I'm a decent modeler but I can fumble with textures.

Eh, this at least gives the benefit of being able to tell how much work it'll approx. take.

How much money you got, goy? You want it rigged?

you use an online service that holds the money until the services have been rendered.

So I went throuth turbo squit etc. and it seems like decent freelance jobs are a myth... All I see is:

A. shitty little comissions for tiny sums scattered across vast expanses of non-3d work
B. Well modeled, well textured work being sold for 10$ a piece.
