Well, this is a WIP so I'm going to assume your not done yet. Make the road a smooth curve, and fix the slight jump when it shifts from the last frame back to the first frame. Maybe add a slight glow around the lights. I believe the effect would be nicer with more contrast,meaning make it night time. Also, the road looks kinda blue-ish too me, but my eyes are fucked up, so it might just be me.

Not sure yet. I like the look of the Pokedex 3d Pro, but at the same time cell shading makes sense given that's what they're using in X/Y.

No matter what style I go, I'm keeping the poly count relatively low. It's at around 4k right now, and shouldn't go up at all considering the modeling is done (save for the planes I'm going to use for its eyes and mouth).

Yeah, logic dictates that's where the pelvis should be, but it seems the anatomy is really wonky. Before I started, I drew up some crude orthographic references to guide me. I couldn't help but notice how 'off' some things seemed. If I had to guess, it they're modeled that way because of the shading used in-game.

I mean, just look at where her thigh gap is!

I can't wait for an update to the Pokedex Pro or something. That thing has come in handy while modeling Pokemon.

To be honest I've just recently discovered that we had a /3d/ board. If by wire you meant the wire frame, well gladly and no I made them myself, I did some low poly, redid the model for med poly, did my UVs, smoothed everything to high poly, send to mudbox, did the sculpting and texturing and rendered everything in maya with the mental ray quick skin shader.

Also they don't need to have that strong of a bump map if at all. Try looking into using some SSS too. The main problem is they look a little waxy, otherwise it looks good.

It's create a bunch of procedural textures for your model based on what you input into it, the more you input, the better the job it can do. You have full control over all the kinds of procedural textures it will generate for your model and can manually paint what you want as well of course, which you should. A normal map and a color map defining your different color types is about all you need, although an AO map is handy as well. The Normal and AO help tell the algorithm where you have sharp curves and where areas are occluded so it knows how to make the texture more natural (more weathered/chipped on edges, dirtier in occluded areas, less specular there, etc..). It's really quite good once you learn the in's and outs. All these kids on here cry because they have the Blender mentality of "hey this shit is supposed to take days to do good! You guys are noobs for enhancing your workflow!"

maybe post wires could suggest if theres any bad topology, alternate ways of doing.

one tip is draw curve guides then you can see how far you deviated from them, and snap to them. that assumes you have blueprints.
