He teached me how to walk.
When I got started I looked at tons of tutorials and got more and more frustrated until I found his channel.
You literally don't need anything besides Pavlovich and #AskZbrush to git gud.

HM... I wanted to disagree because of Durst and Gaboury... but they are more like official encyclopedias of zBrush... because they are devs for a long ass time...

Mike is a third guy on the world to who’m I’d go to learn zbrush technically, and Pablo Nunez .

As my opinion goes, zBrush is not a complicated software... even in you learn ALL it’s ins and outs, main challenge is to learn how to be a good artist, and that takes time and dedication, + good taste, and Imo it is achievable.

I’d suggest to also watch Paul Gaboury’s streams on different parts of Zbrush, forgot how they are called but they are also on Pixologic’s channel.

Pavlovich taught me that its fine and actually recommended to use spotlight to model and then projection paint onto the result when you want to capture a likeness.

My initial results was quick and hella promising...next time I would just have cleaned up the ears/hands more and it would be perfect...

he's a clear example of someone with a lot of technical knowledge but no artistic skill whatsoever.

I'd rather have the latter, a tool anyone can learn.

so where's the artistry? it's a bunch of derivative videogame monsters and cyborgs. he has the aesthetic sensibilities of a mid-budget xbox game from 2007. you're just proving that anon right.

+1, Pablo and Madeleine are great.
Are you talking about Madeleines gnomon course? Its great, shows some interesting techniques I've never seen before and fairly comprehensive, but since its in chunks of 30-40 minutes vs Pavlovich 7 minute chunks I usually use Pavlovich except for stuff Madeleine is better at.
I wish she uploaded more to her youtube channel
