Basically what thes others anons said. On /ic/ the cumbrains actually have to draw these characters and settings which requires skill and understanding. In 3d, coomers don't make their own models, most of the time they take premade assets which are already rigged and have materials applied to them and just render them. Between Daz, ripping game models from games or sites where you can download naked rigged characters, there is little skill these people actually need.
Of course, if they would do these characters from scratch there would be a different discussion, but they don't.
