I'm even impressed by how you did it. Did you transfer a male head morph into a female gen, or did you painstakingly tweak the right morphs? Or did you take a photo of yourself and use a facegen? Either way it's really well done.

If the hair isn't supposed to be a wig, use brow remover + some third party brows to make the brows and hair match. In my own experience, it can be really distracting.

This is potentially true in north america where a lot of people are so obese that they can no longer reach around with their arm to wipe their own butthole.

Personally I'd use Ren'py if I tried to do a VN. It's more or less the standard for amateur VNs, has a huge community, is in python and easy to use, and you don't need to reinvent the wheel as you would if you went lower level. It's basically what everyone does in the western community, not that it's always a proof of anything, mind.

Using UE 4 for a VN is like using a waterjet cutter to cut bread. You can do it. It's rather unwieldy. Plain better to use the right tool for the job.

Yeah, I dunno what's this all about. I started with Gen3 (well, Gen1 back when I was 12 years old, but really started with Gen3), and all my Gen3 figures, with minimal competence born from being a thirsty fuck, all looked good.

Fit control doesnt work for me on gen8 males. Script runs, then nothing happens.
Works fine on Gen8 females, script runs then get the popup it worked fine.

Workaround at the moment by fitting the clothes to a gen8 female, running fit control to add the morphs then deleting her and fitting the clothes back to the gen8 male but this is cumbersome.

Needs some help when it comes to saving custom made clothing assets.

So for example I got a matching dress, hat, and two socks.

Most videos say you should save as a support asset, but then I can only save one. I want the socks saved as one asset. The only way I see to do it is use save as wearables. But why wouldn't I just do that for all of them?

I'm trying to export a daz figure into blender, with morphs as shape keys. I did it successfully in the past, but for some reason it doesn't work anymore.
What I do is export as a 2012 binary .fbx, check Morphs in the export options, and in the Morph Export Rules add all the morphs I want baked or as an export. Those that I chose as baked, are correctly baked into the figure. Those that I chose export (so that they are transformed into shape keys) are not exported.
Any idea of what I'm doing wrong? Or how to succesfully export morphs into blender?

Start with 1920x1080 scenes, see how long it takes.
Get some good HDRI's and see how long a single clothed character takes. Then try with some 3 point lighting. Compare. Then try two characters, then add an environment.

They are called canvases in Daz, very straightforward but there are many videos on them.

You can render elements seperalty, so you can do the background, char 1, char 2, then just put them together in your image editing software of choice.

I don't use it much, personally. But it's great if you find you are crashing during renders, it won't speed up things for you though. I mean like,
For example for me a 4k scene with a not too complex background environment and two characters, it might take me 8-12 hours overnight if it's lit properly to get to 2000+ iray iterations. Which is more than enough.

If I was to split them up with canvases, the background will probably be much quicker but the two characters would still be a few hours each, and personally I don't like setting caps on iray iterations, as I like to check the render before finishing it, so I'd need to constantly check back each character and wouldn't be able to let it go overnight.

Does that make sense?

Daz is shit at animation, so no.

Daz models are very often imported in blender in order to make what the cool kid nowadays call "SFM" animations, for some bizarre historic reason when it's blender all the way down, except the models, which are Daz's. But it's tiresome, and getting good at it means spending 1000+ hours fixing the smallest detail.

You can, though, make money by just rendering still pictures. Just find a fetish with a dedicated fanbase, then look as you make small waves in an even smaller pond and get doughs.

I personally recommend giantess (big amount of doughs circulating there), mind controlled supherheroine (firmly established community), furies (the furies are always willing to pay), guro (but only if you can really render lifelike corpses), and extreme BDSM. Ah, and of course the master of them all, futa. Futa has more doughs in the community than all other community together, but the competition is starting to become really steep.

Damn, Breastacular is good, but avoid the breast morphs. The movement/position morphs and the collision system are good, but as to actually shape the breasts naturally, use literally any other morphs you have. Breastacular is compatible with those, and you won't have bizarre torpedo tits on your figure.

I've applied a GF3 material preset to both GF3 (left) and GF8 (right).

I need some guidance. Was doing test render on the Storm I made. The colour on her suit was too washed out so I bumped the exposure from 13 to 14. Which got me pic related. But now if I put another character into the scene, it'll mess with their look.

So what settings should I adjust to make the suit look less bright on it's own, without relying on the exposure setting? Messed with the glossy settings, and the making the color a duller white. Didnt work out

One tip iv leaned in Daz is to make use of groups. For example I export a lot to MD to Sim then use the morphs, so what I usually have is the model in a group, scene shit like lights in a group and cameras in a group and environments in a group.
Then when I need to export something to Sim, I pose the model, unparent the clothing piece I wanna simulate (if I wanna do multiple I go one by one), hide everything else, export, do the Sim, refit the clothing to the model, unhide stuff morph loader pro and done.

One thing that gets in the way of this is strand based hair. Cos it's new it's for some reason quite finicky so unless you know what your doing, don't play around with the group's it's in otherwise it will start to transform weird. Just make sure you hide them.
