I give up on linux.

I'm tired of using poverty software filled with bugs and shitty workflows and just overall inferior subhuman experience.
I tried blender 2.8 RC today and it was extremelly buggy and crashes just by opening a file.
Sick of this shit, I rather pirate adobe software than use the poverty open source tools.

fuck that shit.

Pls recommend me the tools the professionals in the industry uses to make AAA games.

Blender is fine on Windows. Haven't had a crash in nearly an hour. Despite being shipped with some Ubuntu distros Blender Foundation supports Linux thirdmost after Mac and Windows.

You have no idea what RC means do you? Categorically a beta, just also a release candidate. Don't be so fucking dense.

I used Kubuntu for a bit and once you get past the Loonix learning curve, the experience was pretty identical to Windows. A little rough, but pretty identical. I was using Blender 2.7. Was all fine. Even used Unity's experimental Linux editor. Was also working fine. And that was on a potato Intel HD.

I prefer just using Ubuntu though. Trouble shooting sucks when the tools aren't even documented. Or at least Kubuntu makes what little trouble shooting information exist even spicier because they thought it would be nice to change around basic tools like the partition manager.

Yep, you're a fucking retard. RC is a fucking code freezed snapshot prepared for stable rollout, you idiot.

>> No.689083

so does blender 2.8 crash a lot? i've used various 2.6x and 2.7x versions on windows a lot and they'd only crash like once a week.
