Life is hard, shit is tough.
Better learn that lesson sooner than later:
If you want something done RIGHT, you better do it yourself.
Nobody likes idea-guys.

>> No.586855

You can learn as you go, you know. Sure, you'll get better and better over time so you'll have to remake some things here and there but that's even more experience and you get to see how much you've improved which will you drive you even further forward.

Don't worry about it dude, the human brain is wild and can accomplish just about anything you can think of.

The only real thing keeping you back is doubt and fear of rejection or failure, which isn't too bad when you know you can just do it again and again since it's your own project.

Also there's plenty of people to network with, there's entire communities and websites full of smart, skilled, and driven people.

And maybe look into antidepressants or something yeah? Antidepressants helped me a whole bunch, I was basically in your position. Be sure to get a genetic test though which can be free or really cheap depending on your income, some antidepressants aren't metabolized well by some people and it can be tested so you don't waste time with trial and error. Also it'll say if you need Vitamin B supplements like I do so medicine works better.

Please, stop automatically giving people advice to immediately jump to medicine for every problem they have. This needs to stop. You don't need to take pills for every minor problem in your life. This guy seems to be whining because he doesn't want to admit that shit takes time and learning all of that won't be easy. It is completely normal to suck at the beginning and you can't make excuses or you're just lazy. And you recommend him antidepressants for that. I want to git gud in 3D, is there some magic medicine for that as well? But nhf, I'm not trying to be a dick and I know you are just trying to help him.

I have no clue what you are trying to achieve, but you are mentioning that you don't know shit about drawing, anatomy and topology, yet you also mentioned you are trying to model heads (human characters probably)? That will take you months and years, you have to be patient. You also said that you "can't figure something out". Are you one of those people who don't bother with tutorials and think they can figure everything out by themselves? You are just digging the whole you are in deeper and deeper. Start from simple things and work towards more complicated ones. But it seems that you want to make some 3D animation, and you have to be aware that doing everything on your own will take a loooooooooooong time, even you are great at it.

I ain't saying he needs it, just that OP should look into it. If it was just OP saying they suck I wouldn't think about it, but "day by day online friends lose interest in me" seemed odd.

I am heavily projecting though. If they don't think they need it that's their prerogative. Though I do wish I took people more seriously when they suggested I might have depression while I was still in school.

speaking of drawing can you recommend any good tutorials for learning how to draw better?
Starting with something more basic and them moving towards human anatomy
some tutorials for understanding anatomy for 3d would also be apprisiated, I assume its different from 2d or at least what you need to know is different

On /ic/ there are book threads with links to books on learning to draw. Typically people recommend Andrew Loomis, but there's probably an FAQ / Pastebin in the OP over there.

Pretty much this. There's more money and reliable work in studios that work with video anyways. Get paid more to do something you are already good at while you build skill sets for what you like doing for fun in your spare time.

Don't be a dumbass OP. (Too late, I know)
Everyone has their own "My ultimate change the world idea", yours isn't any better than the other faggots. Stop being a pussy and man up, or move onto something you can actually do, like flipping burgers.
