Hi, Guys!

It's Terminal once again, I think its about time for a Challenge. Let's do firearms..

Now what is the Challenge? Search model sites and find firearms that haven't been model yet and create them. It can be from any time period or universe as along as its a firearm.

World war 2 is preferable as it has a vast library of rare items to select from however its your choice.

As always have fun!

The only issue that 99% of the guns he shows don't have good blueprints.

If you're good/lucky you can screen cap the guns at different positions to get a few decent modelling reference shots. His website has a great gallery of oddball gats at all different angles too.

If you emailed him and asked for some specific shots I'm sure he's the kind of guy to oblige.

In relation to the MTR. In my opinion i don't think thats a major problem because its a single person. I'd be worried if you had like a dozen people selling this weapon model but again its a single person and as a result you don't have much competition as they've set their level quality and you've only got to go higher to out match them.

We make models in 3D Editors, Programs like Maya, Max and ZBrush.

You'll start with a reference image in most cases then just import it into your scene and start blocking out the form with a primitive after which you'll begin to do the more detail and so on.. until you've got a complete model.

It can take anywhere from 2 hours to a week depending what your doing and how good you are.
