Made an new water matcap.

Just decided to enhance my good old skin material render test scene and starded with the arrow.
So, I made a lowpoly basemesh in blender, exported to zbrush and sculpted the details and painted the diffuse etc. Then made UVs and then exported the displacement map and the diffuse map and normal map, reimported into blender to render, but after aplying all the maps the results are somewhat disappointing since it is not as acurate as the zbrush details.
Either I did something wrong during displacement map generation in zbrush or during setup in blender.
Think I'll have to repeat the process to get used to all that slider/value tweaking crazyness.

There's a reason some plastic surgeons cost more than others, they do a better job of making them look "natural" not artificial. Breasts with large volume should always have a bit of crease under them, and should be TEARDROP shaped, not spherical. Make the top portion a more gradual curve into the body, trust me, it will look much better and more natural.

Anthropomorphic animals are not an invention of Warner And Disney. They appeared thousants of years ago in ancient cultures across the world. Egypt, South America, Indo-China and many other places. Those were mostly god-like characters. Some of them represented strength and witts some sexuality, fertility and motherhood.
During the stone age people started to organize their communities in villages and later also cities. The bigger the communities got the more they developed some kind of social cohesion by inventing gods and worshiping them together. Those were the first religions. Those were also the times when artists evolved, who made depictions of their animal like gods. Each community (clan) had their own gods. Since in those times people lived among all sorts of wild animals (many many animals) they made their animals their gods according to their certain character qualities. Later (much later) when kings started to rule over large countries they required a much more unversal religious concept to bind their nations together under one common mentality. Those were the times when monotheism was born with just one spiritual god figure, leaving animal like god characters behind. But even in modern christian relogion concept some animal-like characters have suvived, angels and the devil for example.
Animal like characters are very old in human culture, its religion and fairytales.

Today artist (like me, apparently) still work with such characters, but those characters are not religious anymore. They are there for pure entertainment purposes. Some entertain kids, others adults.

All I can say is to study anatomy. All of your torsos are way too long or way too short. Someone mentioned the breasts as well. None of your breasts look natural. They dont connect to the arms properly and they don't even sit on the chest properly. Honestly, that's a ribcage problem though. Since you stop the ribcage so early, the breasts are always wrong. You also miss the S curve in the spine. It makes the back look flat as a board and the glutes tacked on. Get your understanding of anatomy up there and it'll make your sculpts match in quality. Also, if you're using Zbrush, don't be afraid to hold Shift and smooth things out.

she's 185 cm / 6'1, if it's average sized she's about 193cm / 6'3.

As for the tail, you should take a look on the where the spine connects to the pelvis like on this skeleton: it's where the tail starts. Modify what left of the human tail so that it curve upwards like an animal (though the tail itself is usually above the anus on most mammals).

So far, it's a good model, but if you're aiming for pseudo realism, study on the anatomy of both the animals and the humans before you proceed.

It also help to draw an orthograph containing BOTH the skeletal and muscular structure of the organism in question, so that these can serve as a guideline for future sculpts

There is no reason to in this world to sculpt an arrow.
You could reduce the poly count of that by 90% without any noticeable difference by turning the arrow shaft into a cylinder. The feather also has a ridiculous amount of vertices for no reason, if you really want that amount of detail you could go with a displacement map or even just a normal map.

Well, the geometry is not all that tragic, it is not intended for use in vidya games. But I did use a displacement map there. I just wondered why it didn't come out as acurate in blender as it looked inside zbrush. Must have done something wrong during map export.
