Not sure if there are any Blender-heads on here, but this is a W.I.P. I'm working on. Any advice? Goal is to make it intimidating. (Planning to add fur, eventually)

So pectoral muscles aren't just bumps that grow off your rib cage. they're fibers that connect to you sternum and then to your shoulders. If you want big intimidating muscles you've gotta show the bulging irregular cords and how they connect. For really exaggerated muscles you can show these creases in the skin the theoretically would form from the tendons that connect the muscle to the bone being over grown.

The easiest way to make these in 3D would be to block them out in your 3d package and then add the details in zbrush as a normal map. IF you dont want to sculpt then make the topology of the muscles follow the tendons and then have the edge loops alternate in height.
Remember if it looks wrong then change it until it looks right.

Also, look at this classy dude in my picture. He's got mad deltoids on his shoulders. and crazy traps on his neck. These are the muscles of intimidation. Your guy has tiny lady shoulders, especially compared to the rest of him. A broad frame with high round shoulders is the key to an intimidating silhouette.

It looks like you're going for the "skull-for-a-face" schtick but you don't have enough detail to sell it. It looks like you just beveled grooves into a smooth oblong shape for the eyes. bones are porous and full of holes and hooks for ligaments and tendons to attach to.

having the horns grow out past the hands would prevent it from actually ever using its hands. plus, they stretch out so far if it tried to use it for hunting they would probably break. try thinking ergonomically as to why it has these parts. In nature, intimidation is mainly conveyed through color. body parts always have uses. maybe have them smaller, sharper, and thicker. they would still be intimidating, but it could still use them in shorter, swifter motions.

The hooves should also be smaller, they seem a bit thick at this point.

muscle anon already explained the muscles pretty well, but also dont forget more definition through the arms. the fingers might also look better shorter and stubbier.

From the front view, the legs seem angled out like a humans legs. it doesnt seem realistic, try making his torso much wider so that you could make the legs parallel to each other. Making the torso wider will also screw up the humanoid proportions a bit, which will also make it more monstrous.

Great start though. May have gone a little overboard with the horns on the head, but still pretty good.
