I would like to counter anons here and say mentoring is one of the fastest ways you can learn, assuming your teacher is efficient enough to help you learn smoothly, and talented enough to where he won’t wreck your brain. But I don’t think I’d trust you to help even unwrap something nor to add edge loops to low poly base models, because I don’t think you really care that much. I can gauge your enthusiasm just by your op, and I don’t think you are passionate. You just find the idea interesting. Like another anon stated, if you were serious you would already have etches in your belt. But you don’t. Go find something else that seems novel and drop it a month later as well.
