It's the very first screenshot in the game and people already try to judge like it's the final thing.

> wtf does "simple enough" mean? Simple isn't good. Look at those lips; red bleeds onto the skin, you've painted in shadows and outlines. eyebrows look like they're painted on with makeup, eye shadow doesn't compliment the skin tone/complextion or eye colour at all. Random eye shadow bleeding onto the egdes of the lower eyelids.

As I said, this is meant to show the shader, not the textures. This is absolutely a slap on texture to display the shader to show the general tone, the reflections and the soft skin. As the head will change, so will the UVmap, so will the textures. Also it would be a useful feedback if you can give examples of working shaders like the shading style of Frozen or some cel-shading or whatever product you think works well.

> shader/textures aside, the hair just clips into the head and looks jagged and messy. The nose isn't nose shaped. She doesn't appear to have ears.

It's too soon to be talking about the model when it's obviously not even close to being finished. The hair is problematic since alpha textures always get messy, not to mention these won't be the actual hair meshes in the final thing I just took them from somewhere. Maybe it's better to keep the hair opaque though. She doesn't have ears yet, or a neck, or a body atm.

This is a very early stage in the production so there's a lot of room for change.
