Probably everyone in the thread knows about Vicey3D, the guy that makes lookalikes for Genesis 8 Female.
His work has... inspired me to want to make a lookalike for a particular person. Not for sale, but to keep for myself. Question: what is needed to do what he does? Are there any shortcuts? The way I imagine it:
>collect tons of pictures of the real person, from different angles
>painstakingly sculpt a high poly model to approach it as close as you can
>collect more pictures, this time to gather texture details
>somehow paint those details in
Sounds like a lot of work, and I just want to masturbate to a 3d model of a particular pornstar doing whatever I want.
