I've fucked up on a model and rotated an object while in edit mode instead of while in object mode, so my local axis is still aligned to the global axis.

Without a script, does blender allow me to scale a selection along an arbitrarily selected edge as defined by to verts?

If not, is there a way to get blender to rotate an entire selection such that an arbitrarily selected edge defined by two verts aligns in parallel with any specified axis?
