left clicking twice just results in me placing the edge loop.
I want A, but I get B

on a more complex model, I don't want to have to manually remove everything past whatever edge (represented by the dotted line) I want the loop to stop at. I want to know if there's anything I can do to the edge, or any input I can specify when adding a new edge loop, that will tell it "do not go past [my selection] edge"
