Daz have been progessively stripping down their models' vertices over the years. Yeah, V4/M4 didn't have subdivions, but as you can see the base topology was far superior.
You'll have a tough time creating anything that isn't a butter face with G3/G8. Even if you're merchant and have the HD import plugin.
